Chase: I was inspired by the vast open spaces of Western movies, a style that influenced my work in many ways. I created this piece during my travels through the Polish countryside, at a time when I faced difficult life choices—two radically different paths—and I didn’t know where either would lead. I had to choose and chase the path that is most fulfilling.
